That's basically what I'm seeing over there - people ask a question, and they don't get answers. Instead, they get insulted for not already knowing the answers, and if they're lucky, will get an answer as part of the insult.
Unfortunately, I've seen many instances where the answers being given are flat-out WRONG, or simply NO ONE knows the answer and so the topic is just completely avoided.
Understand this - I might not know a whole lot about 'Cudas or Challengers - guys like Al, Neil, Stroker, can tear one apart bolt by bolt and freakin' put it back together, sans instructions.
My expertise is in electrical work, computer diagnostics, OBDII systems, etc. So when someone is asking about check engine lights or modifying a modern vehicle, I'm all over it. And when I see the questions that these guys are asking that I could easily answer with some homework, and all they're getting is crap for even asking, it makes me not want to even get involved.
It's one of the few things that I think is keeping me from fully enjoying my new Viper experience.
