Las Vegas Air Show 2008
« on: November 11, 2008 - 11:32:10 PM »
Below is a link to photos I took at the Las Vegas air show last weekend after SEMA. I tried to take pictures of the fighters flying but for some reason my camera couldn't focus on them. I have to say I have never seen an aircraft of any kind manuever like the F-22 Raptor did. What an impressive jet (I'm not just saying that because I work for the company that builds it).

You know what I find strange.  Whenever I go to an airshow and the F117 is there it has armed guards with big guns around it roped off. When I see any other aircraft it has no one around it including the F22. Isn't the F117 like  forty years old?

Gotta love those air shows! Our house is in the flight path for the airport so when the Blue Angles are in town we get a front row seat.

Erm, I don't think so.  The F19 might be, but I think the F117 is a little newer.

Me personally I've always loved the F-14 Tomcat and of course...  The "Viper."

The F 117 came out in the early 80's. It has a lot of "stealth" technology that maybe they don't want people to see very close up.  :dunno:
