How do you know what type of trans?

I have an AT with no numbers (that I can find) and I need to know what kind of trans it is. The shifter is a slap stik if that helps at all.

The 904's have just one angled corner on the oil pan like the bottom gasket while the 727's have a more complex pan shape like the top.
