Personally ........I don't like either one.  Too bold.  Smaller width and less cuts...........maybe. and slant toward the rear.........

I would have thought the 2nd pic without seeing but I agree the 1st makes it look more aggressive!

Hi Gary. I hate to ask you this, but could you eliminate the small stripes above and below by making the center stripe taller? More like a real AAR stripe. Thanks.

Gary, I took the liberty of playing around with the stripe so that you dont have to. I think the AAR forward slant does make it look meaner, so I'll probably go with that style. I added two other pictures so that I can get some opinions. Thanks.

Okay guys. In the first pic, I filled in the space between the small top and bottom stripes, so that the whole stripe is taller. In the second picture, I just eliminated the top and bottom stripes. I do not like the top and bottom stripes being solid, so that option is out. Which one do you like now, taller, or shorter?

Would the darker areas getting larger to the rear make any sense?

The shorter version slanting forward would be the ticket IMO. I think a stripe the same size or a bit bigger than a longitudinal would look a lot better without stealing too much real estate from the bodyline.
