BIG Brakes they have are stop techs. Easy on the front as they are just corvette based. This requires the custom bracket they did to mount to a Mopar rear and have the seperate spot caliper for the parking brake. Very nice brakes and a price compareable to everyone else on brakes that size. A set of Wilwoods all around compareable are about $4500 with flex line and master cylinder to match. Unless you have their level II suspension their level II brakes aren't going to bolt up as is. I am sure they could be made to work.

Unless you have their level II suspension their level II brakes aren't going to bolt up as is.

Because their level 2 components are design around vette components, C5 I think. That means the spindle the brakes mount to is not compatible with a stock mopar spindle. You would need to upgrade to their entire level 2 front system to use the brakes.

If you truly want 13" rotors with world class calipers, AR Enginering makes Viper caliper kits compatible with the stock mopar suspension. They offer two kits, one for 1st gen calipers and one for 2nd gen calipers. 2nd generation kit pictured below.

Yep, I know that vette has totally different spindles. If you guys look at the XV site, there are some pics of this kit and you can see that spindles included to the kit. No need for "level II" suspension.  :biggrin:
So, if someone here use these brakes, I would like to heard some feedback.  :wave:

$1600 isn't a bad price for as complete as the kit is. Calipers are two piston units which means they are either vette or mustang units. 13" rotors will require 17" wheels. No reason to think they are bad setup and they would be comparable to any other late model 13" brake kit you. Two piston calipers will provide more feel than the stock single piston type. Aluminum calipers will save a few pounds of weight.

For comparison, the ARE 13" Viper kit is $995 for the hub, rotors, and brackets less the calipers. Used calipers are $300-500 a pair, so throw in hoses and your at or above the same price.

No HP, you are right. The picture above is their level I kit for stock based suspensions. Their Big Brake kit is for their level II suspesnion and are six piston jobs for their corvette based suspension. We can consider them both upgrades for the stock Mopar setups for sure, but I would consider their level II brakes the Big Brake setup. As far as the Viper kits versus the PBR type calipers in XV level 1 I would have to decide if you wanted the fixed caliper Viper look or the floating caliper PBR style. The XV is a decent deal (especially if you go through a distributor that will discount), but I prefer the beefier look of the fixed caliper Viper showing through the spokes of a rim.

If I were you I would call them and make sure they have what you want in stock and ON THEIR SHELF before making plans. I tried to get an intake manifold from them and gave up after 5 months and got my money back!
