upper control arm bushings
« on: November 14, 2008 - 10:09:58 AM »
The guy doing the powdercoating on the suspension called me about the installation of the upper arm bushings. He did not remove them and niether did i,so is unsure if they press all the way in or not.We suspect they go as far as they can,but not sure and dont want to screw them up after coating. He suggested getting the inside and outside measurements where they bolt on,but not sure if i can get to the car in time.Anyone?

I don`t know what kind of bushings you have, but I suppose you have to  push them in as far as they go, otherwise you will never get the controlarm in the correct position.  I pushed mine in all the way and they line up nice with the body.
