71 cuda build - sema project
« on: November 15, 2008 - 03:25:01 AM »
Here are some pictures of the 71 cuda im building.  It has a scratch built frame from the firewall back, a scratch built rear suspension, floors, firewall, etc.  The car is designed by Thom Taylor, will stand only 49" tall, 19 and 20" one off wheels, brembo brakes (working on maybe getting their carbon ceramic rotors), 528 indy cylinder heads hemi, magnum force front k member, hand made valances, a one off machined grill, machined bumpers, and a ton of details.  the car will be debuting at sema 2009, assuming we can get a booth arranged

WOW!  :2thumbs:

That is going to be one killer ride!

Love the Machined '71 grille idea, ought to be sweet.

Some nice fabbing skills you got there  :working:

Right now it reminds me of Joe Rogan's Sick Fish when it was underway

:wow: i was waiting for you to post another few shots of your car, it will be amazing.  I hope you stick to the drawing and do it in the color you posted.  It would be awesome just the way it has been rendered. :2thumbs:

That looks cool, keep the pics coming....
70 Cuda, 7.0L Gen-III Hemi, Viper T56 w/9310 gearset, 3.91's, Megasquirt MS3x v3.57, Innovate wideband, Firm Feel upper arms, torsion bars, springs and strut rods, QA1 DA shocks. I did everything on this car except the fancy paint stuff and I drive it...and I can't seem to stop messing with it....

project i started today, i wanted the rocker behind the rear wheel to be lower, so its more in line with the rest of the rocker panel, and i dont like how the rear valance is swept under the car so far, so i pulled the valance out, and dropped the rocker down.  It will be very hard to notice when the car is done, but just one of those little details.
