F7 Forest Green
« on: November 15, 2008 - 07:06:59 PM »
I hope to get started painting my 71 challenger this winter.   :wow:  I want to paint it a original forest green.  I believe it is F7.  I had a rt when I was kid that was a dark green.  Does anyone have picture of one this color.  The car is bronze now.  I have searched alot of the members cars and haven't seen one.

Is your Challenger code GF7 Dark Green Metallic ?  we have members with that color if it is the same color you are talking about, the forest green post is confusing. :2thumbs:

I guess the green isn't very popular.  I never see it anywhere.  I guess thats why I want it.  Thanks folks so much.       I can't wait to get it painted.  It's actually a driver right now so it's hard to think about tearing it apart and not beening able to drive for awhile.  I go 1 or 2 weeks and evan if I don't have anywhere to go I at least drive it to the grocery store.  So I can't imagine going without it for awhile, but I know it will be worth it.

Kevin, Your right , a lot of GF7 cars were chamged to other colors. It's called dark green metallic.  :2thumbs: It looks different depending on the lighting. It does have a lot of gold metallic in it. A lot of people don't like it. But I decided to keep mine the original color because of that. Good Luck with yours.  :2thumbs:  Same car . different pic.
