After too much money and too long a time, the Hemicuda is back from restoration. A complete "rust-ectomy" and new paint. Also new exhaust, rings and bearings in engine (Didn't need boring or pistons), carpet, and a lot of other stuff. Tried to restore it stock, correct and as close to the build sheet as possible. I had put repop rallye wheels on it before I found the build sheet behind the rear seat back and so they will stay. Originally it was a dog dish wheel car- with a factory stereo radio- how wierd is that! Now everything is there and works- carb solenoid, windshield squirter and even that linkage from the console shifter to the steering column that the Torqueflight hot-rodders used to take off.
Car is a stripe delete car as a lot of black Cudas were. Elasto front bumper and chrome back.
Now I am afraid to take it out and scratch up the paint!! Not sure how many pics will fit. I'll start with one:
