Media blaster in NC
« on: November 16, 2008 - 10:12:20 PM »
Hey all, Can anyone make a recommendation of a media blaster in the Raleigh NC area? Have the doors off the car and would like to get them stripped. I know it needs to be done carefully or the panels can be ruined. Any suggestions?

Where is Jax? Google will get me a bunch of names but anyone can run an add. I prefer getting a recommendation.

I'm sure "Jax" is Jacksonville, Fla.

I was lucky enough that the guy I wanted to powder coat my intake knew someone local that did media blasting. I know this seems like an end around, but powder coaters, or body painters in your area probably know who to go to.

Gauging by what I paid to have my intake media blasted, it isn't cheap.    :bricks1:

MEK is right, we're in Jacksonville Florida, I know my guy charges around $500-600 to do complete car inside and out and few hundred $$ to apply etching primer they use ,it's not your regular etching primer body shops use, since all they do is blast and powdercoat, that stuff is used in powdercoating process,
