So, we have 11 nominees, if you nominated someone else in the original thread & they declined, their name does not appear above.

5 of the 11 nominees have declared their intrest in being a moderator ("confirmed" after their name above) the other seven have not replied yet, or had not the last time I saw the thread before it was deleted.

So, if you are one of the "Unconfirmed Seven", please step up & say yes or no?

At this point I would suggest that we leave this thread open until the seven outstanding nominees have had their say, or one calendar week, whichever comes first. Once this is done the election can be held (fairly) any time.

I hope I got the list right, I had to pull part of it from memory, I can update the list with corrections and / or as the seven chime in.

I am honored to be considered as a moderator for the forums. I am not certain that I would be a good choice, as I am not exactly computer-savvy. That means that I would require a lot of help with the technical aspects of the website at first, and that I would NOT be the person to ask about tech problems with the site. I have 26 years experience as an auto mechanic (NOT a technician!), and much experience across the spectrum of Chrysler automobiles. I respectfully accept the nomination, and hope that everybody chooses the moderator that we really need. Thank you.

Thought you guys knew my name is Pete.  (That's the gag) Clearly in the post I was nominating Carl but he didn't want to do it.
Maybe there was something wrong with my computer but it looks like the second post was deleted. It's not on my history like I never did it at all.

It's headed somewhere - if you look back at Barry's original post, you'll see that a few have confirmed and a few have been removed that didn't wish to be considered.  Still three to confirm - jacksboys, HP2 and PistolGripper.  Clinton (jacksboys) hasn't been on in almost two weeks (anyone know what's going on with him?)  HP2 and PG probably haven't looked at the thread, since I know I've seen both of them on in the last week.  I think e-mails or PMs to all three may be in order before tomorrow.
