Wow, I'm feeling pretty flattered.

Like Supercuda, I'll say that I am not the most computer savvy, nor do I have oodles of time to perform administrative functions. I get 30-60 minutes a day to check in on stuff. However, with that said, I would be willing to help out as this board is a kind of electronic home for me and if I can help,  I'll give it a shot.

Clinton (jacksboys) hasn't been on in almost two weeks (anyone know what's going on with him?)

Thanks for the pm Greg.  I am sorry I have not been on here for a while.  I am finishing up my schooling and I just barely have enough time to sleep between

I am interested in being a moderator, so yes I accept the nomination.  If I get selected I will be able to devote more time at the begining of December, just this month is killing me.

I am not sure who nominated me, but I just want to say thanks.

Thanks to whomever nominated me.  I doubt I'd have the time to devote to moderating, not to mention I imagine I'm a bit more liberal than the majority of the other members ( did I really say liberal ? ).  I'll decline, but thanks for thinking of me.

Thanks guys, that wraps it up then I think?

The confirmed nominees (Candidates now) are;

1) Viperman -Confirmed

2) MEK - Confirmed

3) Moparal - Confirmed

4) JacksBoys - Confirmed

5) HP2 - Confirmed

6) Tactransman - Confirmed

7) Supercuda -Confirmed

Now we need a mod or admin to set up the voting thread with a start / end time & I think we are done.

Best of luck to all the prospective candidates, it will be a tough choice.

The admin and current moderators are in discussion about what we are going to do regarding a new moderator and I'm sure a decision will come here soon.  In the end, it is truely up to 69ChargerRT as to whether or not we need a new moderator.

i appreciate all the willingness to help and while i have no problem adding another mod if its really needed, i question whether it is or not.  according to the raw data, we really havent grown much, if at all in the past 6 months.  the numbers i see for the previous few months are the same weve seen 2 years ago even.  i think in general the site has peaked, with new members still coming in, but probably just as many old members not posting anymore.  so the point of all that is the 3 general mod, plus cp as tech mod scheme has seemed to work well.  if you guys really want a 5th i can do that, but id like to hear some examples or times when moderation is lacking.  one thing that irks me about smaller forums is when they have 20 mods for a board that only gets 10 posts a day...  I dont want that happening here.

I was offering to step up to the plate when we had all the bad mishaps with a sudden rash of bad posting went on. As it turns out, it seems to be cleared up. The site is actually ran very well in my eyes. Always has been. If there isn't a need for another mod, I will happily decline. Just wanting to help out if I was needed.

It does look like going back to approved membership has cleared up all the real issues.
