I think if they could have brought the bumper back even two inches, it would look a lot better.  But I suppose they couldnt for crash ratings or whatever.

Still, a pretty good looking car, IMO.

I'm surprised you guys are complaining about the front of the car...

The rear end looks more like a Camry or Eclipse than anything American.  I actually think the front looks nice - I've always liked a forward leaning rake to the nose of a car.  My only concern is - for as angled as that looks - if cooling will become a concern because not enough air might be able to enter the lower grill at high speeds.  At very high speeds, lift could become an issue.

What I really feel bad for is the aftermarket companies that have poured millions into developing parts for the current mustang only for it to be replaced so quickly by a new body style.  Does anyone know if the guts beneath the skin are being changed or not?

It still looks good I guess, but you can see it's starting to get anyway from the old school look.
so in a couple years it will look like any other new sport coupe. Then it will be gone forever...

Looks to me like they tried to inject a little camaro into it. They are taking a step backwards with this design  :puke:

I like it, but not as much as the current one.  Maybe it has to grow on you for a while.   :dunno:

The front reminds me of some of those body kits you see on some, um, selected cars...I can already see people riveting triangle-shaped pieces of aluminum (cut with tin snips) on and calling it their "race car"...::)
