« on: November 18, 2008 - 09:02:51 PM »
A new moving is coming out this winter named Gran Torino starring Clint Eastwood. What is interesting is that the name of the movie is based off of his car, a early 70s Torino and just so happens his characters name is Kolwaski!

Thanks, Dave!  Never heard of this movie.  The trailer looks real good!  :grinyes:

The name "Kowalski" should be copyrighted.  To Mopar guys, there's only one Kowalski.

It looks like a good movie, but the name Kowalski shouldn't be related to someone who looks like he should be using a walker to get around...It's impressive he's making a movie comeback, but jeez is he old!

A great column by Dan Neil of the L.A. Times about Gran Torinos (and their ilk) and how Detroit got into the position it did.
