Here are a few more pictures of red, blue & brown interiors on white AAR's & T/A's.   I like the blue better on the white cars.  Just me

I know that you seem to be headed towards a white car, but a triple-black AAR 'Cuda is one of the best looking cars I've ever seen.  The flat black graphics on the gloss black body look incredible.  Sorry, but this is the biggest picture I can find.

Hey guys!

Another 3 questions...

Was A/C an option on the AARs?

Was power windows an option on the AARs?

How was the underside of the AARs painted?  I've seen pics showing primer/body color overspray as well as the underside completely painted in the body color.

Cheers and thanks!

How would a person get that same look with something more durable than primer?  Would you spray the bottom of the car with a flat grey paint?

Hey Guys!
Thanks for your previous input on my question!

I heard that there were differences in the fenders and quarters also.  The rumor I heard was that the wheel openings were flared more to accomidate a larger/wider tire.  Does anyone know if there is any truth to this?

Thanks!

The front fenders were rolled to accomodate tire size.   The rolled fenders are kind of hit and miss.  Not that many really got the fenders.  I have been looking for a good pair for some time.
The only difference on the rear quarter is the hole for the antenna.

Thanks for the validation, Josh.  Since the rolled wheel openings were not that previlant on the production models, I may skip it.  We'll see.  I'd like to see the differences to get a visual to what I'd have to do to replicate the rolled fenders.

So I hear, Drew...!  LOL!

Cheers!

I thought the AAR's and T/A's also had power steering pumps w/heat dissipating air coolers on them.  :dunno:

All AAR's came equipped with torque boxes as well, FYI.

The torque boxes weld to the frame to make it more rigid.  You can find them at Mancini.

Some other stuff that comes to mind (that hasn't been mentioned yet):
- The AAR front and rear spoilers! (It's not the Challenger TA spoilers, those are different)
- The rear trunk lid has sqaure-shaped holes cut in the bottom for mounting the rear spoiler
- You'll need the hood pin brackets and pins for that fiberglass AAR hood
- Don't forget the classic fog lights on the front
- They have the rallye gauges (4 big gauges)
- Front and rear sway bars
- Rallye wheels
- The rear valance doesn't have the exhaust cut-outs
- Aren't they all 4-speeds?
- I think they might all have the 6-pack style side-ways mounting windshield wiper motor
- I'm pretty sure the windshield washer sprayers are unique
- I think all of them had painted side view mirror(s)
- The center console has the ashtray holder (like all 70's, just thought I'd through it in)

That's all I can think of right now
