There are a few guys on this board that are looking for a painter and you're looking for work? Maybe you guys might want to meet?

Where you located? Must be someone here needing a coat of paint.

I know what you mean about how slow it is. I'm in construction and resorting to my own home improvements now to stay busy.  :bricks1:

Check this thread out. I don't know what kind of figures he is looking at but some of the numbers seems steep. I had already mentioned to him about seeing if there was anyone in the area freelancing but he said he couldn't find anyone. Maybe the two of you can come to some sort of an agreement?

I have a small shop just south of Rockford IL and I am keeping busy. Currently I am restoring a 71 Challenger, 74 Corvette, 67 Camaro vert, and a 92 Camaro RS. I have a backlog for a few weeks, anyone wanna help or need any work done, I'd be glad to take on more.  What I have in the till is a 93 Ramcharger, 68 Coronet R/T, and a 70 Challenger R/T.
I have noticed that I had to drop my prices a bit for people to agree to let me restore their cars, so i am not making as much, but it is keeping it steady.

Here are some of the pics of the recent cars I have done or am doing.
10 years in the making......

I need two estimates - since you're bored! - One for cobalt blue stripes, another for a full repaint in "Viper" Metallic Blue with White stripes...  I'm eventually going to do one or the other.

I hear ya on the "pinch" - winter season is always tough for car repair, service, collision, etc.  Until the first snowfall - then it gets CRAZY BUSY for a little while - everyone suddenly gets nervous or realizes what all isn't working, like heat, defrosters, TIRES...
