I was installing my new dash the other day and found this coin, has anyone seen one of these before?

Looks more like a necklace or charm to me...  Plus the lack of an opposing side means it's probably not a coin.

It is definitely not a coin.  Looks like a Catholic necklace piece.  I have a few that my Grandmother gave me a long time ago.  It looks like it might be Saint Christopher (Patron Saint of Travelers) who is frequently depicted carrying the Christ child.

At least you know it's silver...  Kind of an interesting piece to find in a car from the early '70's.  I only found a bunch of mangled papers mice had chewed along with an old high school parking pass from '74-'75 and about $2.00 worth of coins.

It is a St Christopher medal.  I agree, somebody probably had it on the mirror.  I remember my sisters all wore them in the 60's.
