Hi, Newbie in Ohio
« on: November 20, 2008 - 02:51:12 AM »
Hi all from NW Ohio. I found my 1971 Challenger on a used car lot in 1989 for a $1000. It is a triple black 340 rt with stripe delet. I can't find any pictures before I took it apart but have some being fixed. In 1992 I took the car to a body shop to have the frame fixed under the battey. I took off the front fenders so they could get to the frame. They took an air chisel to the rad. support and inner frender and cut the frame off in front of the shock tower. they welded in a new peace right to the back of the K-frame and welded the k-frame to the frame to. :swear: The car has been sitting in the barn from then on, so i could fix it right.

HI THANKS for all the welcomes. I have been working on the front of the car first. I got the front suspension rebuilt and the front metal replaced. Going to sandblast and prime the front next. :woohoo:
