Had Lunch with onefornow
« on: November 21, 2008 - 09:04:43 PM »
onefornow/Russ had some business in my area & contacted me about meeting for lunch so we got together at the finest restaurant in the southeast......southeast Greenbriar that is.    Had a nice time chatting about our cars & you guys, who's ears were burning about 1PM CDT?.  Any way this is the second time we've met, the 1st being 2.5 years ago just after I joined up here.   Enjoyed seeing you again Russ & hope those fried chicken livers set well .

2.5 years??!! I've got to get out more often. Thanks Wade for taking time out to meet me and yep, those big chicken livers were very good. I'd start to say something, look down at 'em, then forget my point  :dunno: :D Glad you made sense out of what I was saying. Wade suggested I visit Mooresville, the oldest continuously settled town in Alabama. You're right, less than a mile off I-565 and it's like stepping back two centuries. Beautiful :) Btw on the way up this Falcon flew past me - at 85. Aerodynamics anyone?

Russ, I was thinking that when your body men get finished you should throw an assembly party... We have enough members in driving distance that we should be able to get 4-8 folks to come for the weekend & put the Challey back together.
