« on: November 22, 2008 - 11:51:44 AM »
Can someone give me instruction on how these go on, they dont look like the stock ones and the clips are different also. Rubber ones were on back order everywhere I looked. Thanks, you guys have bailed me out alot so far.

You  have to get rough with them.....1st lube your torsion bar....2nd heat the boot, I boiled some water in the microwave & soaked them.....3rd pull like HE!!..... They will turn inside out if your working from the rear, be sure you have them oriented correctly to begin with.

I can't even figure which direction they go. They are shaped like a shot glass, does the larger end go over the socket on the cross member. They come with c clips are these the clips that are used on the back side of the cross member. What is the groove for on the small end of the poly boots. Thanks

Sounds like you've got it...big end fits over x-member on the outside, nothing more to do on the small end & the metal clips go inside from the rear after the bar is in.
