    That grill does look good. Usually the ends get boogered up. It's also rare to see that big brace on the bottom center, still there.

    today i got alot of stuff done again i got the wiring all removed in the engine bay, wiper motor off, got the gauge cluster out and the dash pad/frame is about ready to come out too.  Alot of odds and ends done pretty much and hauled back all my parts .

    Pete, you gonna pull that door back off and put it all in primer and jam it ?   Also, how come you couldn't have taken the outer skin off a door and put it on your door? Was it too bent up? 

    I see it good now where it got the passenger side of the core support.  :2thumbs:

    There is a skin available at autobodyspecialt.com  for $285.  If you wanted to keep th old door. I'm sure your used door was cheaper.

    Yup the old door was too messed up that door is one i found locally for $100 we just need to hand the door and kinda keep the car together just to make sure were all straight.  Next is to find a hood for the old gal.  That grille i got off ebay is kinda hanging up because the guy selling it said the shipping is killer right now were looking at sending it to me on greyhound.  The seller checked freight and it was 180 to get it shipped to me.  If anyone else has any ideas let me know.

    Why is it so expensive to ship the grill I wonder. I sent Stroker a very big box with a rear pan in it for under 40 bucks. I sent clown big boxes too. I the guy from another country?

    idk i think im getting thr un around from this guy or he put it in a huge box he said he packed the box with paper for hours to protect the grille really good but yeah so im hoping it all gets worked out

    My grille finally showed up today needless to say greyhound ships fast the seller sent it off tuesday afternoon and they called me today saying its here.  The grille is very nice im very happy and wow look how big the box he sent it in was LOL!

    I've used greyhound too, when I buy stuff on ebay, Greyhound is the cheapest when sent to their terminal. One guy sold me a hood before finding out how much it was to ship. He offered to refund my money after UPS was going to charge him too much. I told him to send it Greyhound.

    Pete, while your engine is out, check your front framerail down at the floor right before it starts it's upward angle. It usually kinks right in this area, when hit in the front.
