Challenger rubber bumpers???
« on: November 23, 2008 - 12:29:59 PM »
Wondering if anyone has some challenger rubber bumpers to share.  I'm doing my 71 and thinking about going that route just for something different.  Dont worry my car is an ex-drag car and has no originality left.  But do want it to look stock!
Thanx guys, I love this site.

I can't help, but do know those things are hard to find, and won't be cheap when you do find them.

Very true, but surely someone got a few pics of cars that do have them.  I know a guy who has fiberglass version available but not sure if thats the look I want to go with.

Gene Gregory does reproductions of the Challenger bumpers.  Have a look in the search engine for his details under elastomeric cuda bumpers.  He may need your bumpers for a core to cover with the rubber. :2thumbs:

Man does that look sweet. I just wish they would have been like the 'Cuda bumpers and all one color. The way it is you have to make your car an R/T clone or it has to be an R/T to look right   :walkaway:

Thanx, looks pretty good but I'm not sold on the look yet.  Think'n the chrome gives a  more classy look...  Time will tell I guess.
