:working:   The new drop base is so low now I need a slightly taller element.  :banghead:  But it will clear the hood.  Gettn ready to shoot the blackout/hood, Window trim.  And the front wheels purple, n tires.  :poopoke:   Kinduv like the dog dishes.  '71 Stripe/gullwing.     That's the plan I guess...     R/T      :burnout:

ya ya...      So got the blackout done. Quarter glass and new weatherstripping in, Door handles,Mirror. Check out the new fuel/vac. lines.  Messn around in the interior,Gettn stuff ready. A kid from the bike shop next door was lookn for a gas tank that came with a moto he bought from a friend and decided to go through the ceiling and right through the plastic trim pieces for the tops of the doors. Those will be real tough to fix.UHG.   Got some kool headlights and bulbs comn',Locksets,Little stuff...     I've also decided to go purple on the bumpers. With the custom touches they will fit in better.  Maybe 17" wheels would be better on it?    71' stripe?   Or the 73-4 one?  Gull wing fo sho.  Gonna put the hood on pretty soon. Hood pinz? Hmmm... :working:   R/T

That looks great.
I think the hood pins would look good and compliment the headlight chrome against the blackout.

I'm unfamiliar with all the styles of stripes these came with.
Here is the stripe on my 73.  It's the original stripe, sides and rear.

Ummm.... I know the stripes.   Which years are what... I just wanted to see what you guys thought would look best...  :dunno:  Guess the 71' is the obvious choice due to the paint scheme. So I'll do the usual.     Ya I think the chrome hood pins will help too Josh. The dog dishes are a tad stale to me. Kinda' grandma'    :poopoke:     so im still undecided there...  magnums?  17's?  pro-touring type o look? hm       finishing up the headliner. Interior panels.  Fixed the busted plastic stuff well enough to use for now and keep the search going.  with about 600,000 abodys I'd of thought parts would be easier to find. Not much draw on the later yrs...    I still like 'em.     :icon16:       R/T

:walkaway:      I gotta repaint the car again.  Get a different gun.  We have two nice Sata jets.  But after I get them set right... They turn into an exclamation point pattern. Don't know what else it could be. Very frustrating. And I'm bummed.   Not sure what to do !  UhG.

I wish.... Now I'm thoroughly depressed.  And completely frustrated.  Do I just sell it? How can I expect to get anything for it!?   I am beside myself with the whole thing. At the end of my rope. This was the wrong hobby for me to get into...  :-[
