« on: November 23, 2008 - 07:25:49 PM »
Auto., A/C,Front discs. Everything original. It's going to be Plum crazy,Black gut,Black Duster stripe,Go-wing,Black-out treatment on the hood and fender tops. Like the AAR. I picked this up for 800 bucks. Everything works, good electrtical system. Just did the front brakes, shocks.New tie-rods.  :blah:   So....   We just finished my buddies '71 Demon. New quarter skins.Me and another buddy "stole" it. Fixed it up,And gave it back!   Now this Duster is probably going to be for my girlfriend Krista. Or my friend Gary who was supposed to get the '69 B-cuda.  This is more their style, era.   I just love fixn' them up!  This is my driver right now...drove it for a week on 20 Bucks!!! WoW!    Can't stop the moparitis.   HI EVERYBODY!!!       I'm just playn' around here before i start in on the 'cuda!

Pretty cool car you got there. Looks like it has the typical Colorado rust, very little.

Yup,   Not too much rust...   But some hail!!    :banghead:   I do good work though. It's nice to have something to hack into.   I love it.  This will be done by X- mas.  I don't sit around well.  Always something going on around here!

Cool projects.  I am actually looking for a /6 Duster to hit the road with as well.

BTW - That Demon needs some stripes  :naughty:

Lots of them out there too!  I can't believe the gas mileage !!  Great for toodling down to work n' stuff. There's an article in MoparMuscle about how many /6's there were. How cost effective they are for 408's. My girlfriend of course wants the 408. I don't care that much...I have no attachment too it. Just having some fun. It's very rewarding.

Yup that Demon neeeeeeeds stripes BAD!!   The dude is poor.He paid for the skins. We put them on and finished it for him. Mayby for x-mass.   The '71 wing is 600 bucks!!  It's his first car. He's from Hungary.

I'd like to get headers and dual exhaust for it.But for now,Clean it up,Finish it off.  I passed on a '70 satellite for 2K in WY.   Still have dreams of a Superbird.   :bricks1:       Later,Robert.

I've got a line on a couple of /6 Dusters/Demons.   Hopefully, I'll pick one up soon.  One had a V8 transplant already (318) that looks like pretty good deal.  If it is still around once I get better financial footing I plan on buying it.

BTW - tell the guy you are doing the Demon for, I have a 71 Gull Wing spoiler that is brand new with the correct brackets that was left over from another project.  I am willing to sell it for $400.00.  Also, the Demon stripes can be had for $75.00.

THANKS!! I'll tell him.  That spoiler would be perfect. I'd buy the stripe right now for him for X-mas.  Any other car info. please let me know where the thing is. We'd travel for the right Demon. My buddy wants one too...Going with a 5.7 HEMI. He's got cool Hemi (Demon) decals made up.        I'll be priming again for Thanksgiving!   Later all.

We'll.....    The interior is all out,And Black!!!   It looks GREAT!!!    The dash is black,Column,Ect...Windshield is out. Prepped for the new one. Lot's of bodywork on this one.   FINALLY priming today. It's been too cold out for me. I will just shoot it outside and then roll it in.   I'll take some pics of the interior pieces....I sprayed them with that rattle can stuff for plastic.  Let it dry/harden for a few days.It seemed to work really good considering I got a real nice black interior for 10 bucks.  :poopoke:  And it doesn't scratch off that easy.  I'll get some pics for ya' ...
