Pictures, I got you pictures...lol.   Well the car was everthing he said up above.  It even has a suregrip rear(posi).  Its bees sitting for 5 years and was turned into a little drag car.  The most rust seems to be the right rear lower qt and the left front bottom of door and the driver side pan will need to be replaced.  Everthing else looks good maybe only need very small work.  Look like everthing is there to the car except the fender tag but thats ok I did find the build sheet in the car.   Well Ill stop talking and just show you guys the pictures.  O and before you ask I did get it below 4000.00 just a little above 3500.00 so thats why I didnt pass it up tonight.  Let me know what you guys think.

It doesn't look like a bad deal at all...I just hope rust isn't hiding under the vinyl top. The roof is a popular place for rust to hide on those cars.   :eek7:

thanks guys, Im really happy with the car.  I put the build sheet back together or well whats left of it.  I was able to pull off some of the codes but some I cant see. Can you guys tell me if all the rallye cars has the seat belt light in the corner of the dash(see pic)?  Also what about the light on the bottom of the dash that says reverse, did someone add this or was that a option(see pic 2)?

72-74 E-Bodies had that red seat belt light on the right of the gauges. That reverse light you see, means your car was originally a 4-speed. It was standard on 4-speed cars.

Guys can you help me out with one more thing.  Ive been trying to read as many codes as I can on what build sheet I have left.  This car was missing the trim tag but I would like to get one made for me to put back on the car(car is not going to be sold im not trying to pull a fast one on people).  Here are some of the codes ive got.

A6X9  A57  B41  C16  C56  G36  J54  J55  J97  M0B  M21  M26  N41  N48  R11  S32  S41  S51  S78  S89  V21  W21

Thats pretty much all I can read and dont know if all this would be on the trim tag or not.  I also dont know if thats everything.  To help you guys more this is what I know about the car. It is a 340 4 speed a/c ralleye car with 8 3/4 suregrip manual steering and brakes with disk, front and rear sway bars, triple black car, looks to of had some kind of bottom trim on bottom of rockers.  If you guys can figure some of this out that would be great. Im sure Im not going to be able to get it dead on but would love to be close.  O and it has hood pins but dont know if ther would be a code for that.

I guess that you don't know that, that tranny pictured, is for an a-body and not for a Challenger or Cuda?

That one is too short, so start looking for one with the dual shifter mounting pads.

A57 is the Rallye option on '73 and '74 cars.
