72 - 74 Challenger Headlight Trim Rings
« on: May 06, 2004 - 02:36:32 PM »
Today I dropped off my front and rear bumpers to be re-chromed.

Unfortunately, they said they couldn't plate the headlight trim rings I bought off ebay because they didn't do potmetal.  They gave me the name off a place in Memphis, TN that might do it, but said it would probably be expensive.

Does anyone have a source for NOS of these parts?  If you had yours redone, how did you do it?  Cost?  Mine are pretty pitted/blistered.  I've thought about just powdercoating or painting them black.  Any suggestions?

powder coating them may work well if it doesn`t melt them with the heat they use
