    Nice project.  Keep up the excellent work.  :thumbsup:  Its bad you had to hammer on your freshly painted floor pan like that.  Almost brought me to tears and its not even my car.

    I hate to think how much money is tied up in that car.   :eek2:  This is exactly why I'm trying to decide which route to go with my future purchase. Do I want to get a car that needs a total resto like this or do I want one that's already done? Geeezzzzzz...I wish I knew which route to go here... :dunno: :1zhelp:

    I never have and never will add up what it cost to build this car.  :nono: :nono:
    the only good thing is I've spent the money over the last six years

    It will always be cheaper to buy a built car unless you can do all the work yourself especially in todays market. i would not do it this way if i knew then what i know now.

    Looks great bro!  Its your car, but Im glad you went with the rallyes!  I just went through the same paint and prep with mine.  Did you clear coat yours?  I did mine, I know they werent from the factory, I did it for the peace of mind and the difference was subtle.  Let me know what you think of the 5sp.  Im still struggling with my tranny choice.

    this car is really coming together nice, one thing though did the 70 come with a piece of metal along the  drivers side floor to protect the wire harness like my 73 or did you just delete that part?
