 Nothing new yet. I've got to wait 30 days. I'm really hoping to get the car, but the wife is really hoping to get the money back!!

I think most of them are sisters lol. My wife would be happy if my car dropped off the face of the earth. I do have to admit that to get what I want I have not always been 100% truthful about what the end product will cost. "Oh yeah honey, another 5k and I am done for sure" "Uh yeah, I did not think about that, looks like 3k more and its done" etc., etc. I told her the other day that after paint I just needed "about 5k" to finish her off. She just rolled her eyes at me lol.

Hey some good news! :woohoo: The E-bay VPP guy just phoned and said all is good! He contacted California DMV and the new title will be mailed out Dec 12th !! So it's looking like the seller is legit !! He seems a little "crusty" with me but better safe than sorry! But I might be sleeping in the car when it gets here! Wife is NOT happy!  :swear:Now gotta start planning for building a shop ( 3 cars now )!! Might as well now, might need a warm place to sleep! Maybe by spring "we'll resume marital relations!!"

Good to hear that!
I told my wife that there is a guy who just imported "an old amcar" and wants to sell it for half cost, i.e. $10000. In fact I bought it 2 months before and couldnt wait to see it unloaded from a container :)
Of course I went just to see it but got back with the car on a trailer...
So I think they're all sister, across the world. She doesn't even say that I go to the garage but rather "go to church" :roflsmiley:

If you don't lie to your wife, you will never have ANY toys.  I think every wife has a "lie-limit", that if you exceed the limit, bad things happen --- from cold shoulder to cold house.

Hah - you old fuddy duds.  :)

I told the wife I found my Viper - she asked, "Can I place the bid?"

I talk about it for hours and hours, she just smiles at me.  I know she's ignoring me, but it's okay.  When her friends ask, "Aren't you tired of him and his cars?" she says, "He cooks for me, he pays the bills, he takes care of me, and at least he loves cars more than he loves other women!"

In the long run, they're cheaper to rent (women, that is). :poopoke:

That's the truth, I've always been told, "If it flies, floats, or F**ks, rent don't buy!"
