It's been a while since I've been under the rear of my car, but I thought it was welded to the floor pan.

If it is what I think there is a special body bolt that holds the bracket to the floor pan. Also the floor pan has a special hole that the bracket fits in to to stop it from rotating. Get one of those self tapping 5/16 bolts with the thread on it. They are tapered where the thread cuts into the hole. Mine fit a 1/2" box end wrench or socket.

There is a bracket welded to the floor pan that has two threaded holes and one for the locating pin. The distance from the threaded hole to the floor metal is about 3/8", so I think i am looking for a 7/16" bolt that is 1/2" to 3/4" long.
I just want to confirm what I am looking for in the bolt bucket before I start.
