I just retrieved my Challenger last week to park in its new home, and just in the nick of time, 3 days after I brought it home we had our first snowstorm of the season!
I got 28' wide by 24' deep so it is similiar size to yours. 10' walls with 14' peak at the roof, trussed ceiling and garage door tracks mounted on an angle so I can put a 4 post lift in there some day.
Unfortunately I ran out of time to finish it this year, got the wall insulation and drywall up and most of the taping done before it got too cold. I will put in heat some day, after I decide how to insulate the roof.
I had an electrician who does side work at a decent price put in flourescent lights, a ceiling fan, a dozen outlets both 120 and 220, and rough in for where the heater electrical supply will go. I just need to finish taping and painting, insulate the roof, put in heat, shelving and cabinets, and do something with the floor and it will be 100% done, hopefully next spring but before next winter at the latest!
I had a tired 24'x24' that I had torn down to do this. Now I have a roof that doesn't leak and room for 3 cars!
