Hi, my name is Zach Knutsen. I am 14 and I love MoPars! It all started when I was 11 and my best friend's father had a Challenger, I know ith was Sublime Green and it had a 440-6 Barrel. He later sold that car but ever since then I have been hooked.. My stepdad and I are working on a classic, in is not a MoPar, but in my opinion, it is the next best thing. It is a 1967 Pontiac Firebird and over the summer I built the engine with my best friend, whom was (he died from thyroid cancer) the 1970 Pontiac GTO Tech Advisor. Thanks for your time, Zach.

Welcome aboard!  I am also a fan of the late 60s Pontiacs and would like to see some photos of your bird.  What engine is in it?

Welcome Zach. Sorry to hear of the loss of your friend. Sounds like a nice car. The girl that lived next door to me had a 68 Firebird with a 6 cylinder. It was maroon and in pretty good shape. Maybe one day you'll be the proud owner of a classic Mopar. Good luck with the project!!! :2thumbs:

Thanks guys! I have some plans in my warped mind to put some MoPar stuff on it, I was thinking of The "Bazooka" Exhaust tips that were used on the '71-'74 B-bodies.

Hi Zach, welcome!

Sorry to hear about your friend.  I had thyroid cancer also.  Mine was the type that wasn't as bad, thank God.

'67 Firebird?  Very cool car!  When I was your age, about 26 years ago, I was driving around with my brother and sister and found a used car lot with a '67 Firebird, 326 ci engine, candy apple red with silver side stripes, jacked up with fat rear tires, and glasspack mufflers.  We went for a test drive and it was a wild and cool car!  Liked those cars since then.

BTW, you link is kept private and by invitation only.  If you right click on your pic on you web page and selct "properties", copy it.  Then in the reply page here, there is a button under the italics button ( I ) that looks like a little picture.  If you click it, you'll get 2 [img] thingies.  Paste the "properties" info between the 2 [img] things then hit the post button or preview button.  :)
