I will probably order a XV kit and go with a carb. asfar as I know, the engine doesn't have original cpmputer and harness.
my main concern at the moemnt is the alternator. it is run by the computer and would like to swap for a classic one, but can't find the information if there is another way to do that than ordering the XV alternator ( can't pay $500 for an alternator ...)

I know Christophe by his blog and his famous charger. he looks like a great guy who lives things with passion. ( hope you understand what I mean)
there are lots of classic ammerican cars in france and in Europe mostly mustangs .

my main search for the moment is a 71 cuda grille which seems like the search of the graal

I was wondering if you had received any assistance in your search for the '71 grille? I found a company (Premier Plastic Reproductions) that is reproducing them. Their web add. is www.PremierPlasticReproductions.com The grille itself is advertised for $495.00 US. The inserts and anything else looks to be extra. I do not have any knowledge as to quality or the manufacturers reputation, so I think I will start a thread (if there isn't one already) as there is a good chance someone on this site has some additional knowledge regarding this product. There is another guy on E-Bay advertising restored '71 grilles, but it looks like he is asking for $5,000 US or so-ouch! I hope this helps.

I originally ordered one from PPR but after seaching the net for feedbacks on heir business and them saying every 2 days that shipment was delayed, I ask Visa to refund me ( they did) as I was in the 60 day period to d that.
as of 8 am french time today, I dealt with Mike G and buy his grille, so everything end up really good.
