DANG---and from the pictures your car looked really clean.  Who would of thought you would need all that.   :faint:   When they say beauty is only skin deep --- you hope it is'nt being applied to your car.   :stomp:   You know that in the end you will have a car done right.

Thanks Bent, yup, she ain't what anyone thought. Even JUST prior to acid dip you could only tell a few tell-tail signs that there were problems, but not what we got back. Honestly, me and the shop almost thought they had switched cars at the dip shop lol. Oh well, can't do much, as you say, it'll be done right + another E-Body is saved.

Thanks Jim (Slotts). AC/DC fan? "They're OK"

Yeah, very sad. I could sit here for a while posting what we found so will just list the parts needed to repair her to better than new below. This (with the Batram purchase) is the reason it's been put on hold. The Batram was my choice and I knew this but Madeline's hiding (very well hidden) body work was TOTALLY unexpected, shocked. Anyhow, I've got a crate that is due to land in NZ next week with the following, I just copied and pasted the Excel sheet. All purchased from Dave @ Roseville......

I know the feeling for sure.  Will have about the same to replace on mine.  Just like building a new car for sure.  Could not buy one so will just build one!!!!!!
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

did you ever get a copy from the movie people for using your car on the DVD?

Thanks, I emailed a few months back and it's not released yet. I've done a few Google searches and nothing for: "Blu Ray Vanishing Point" discs etc. I'm not 100% sure if it's the actual Vanishing Point movie or a short 30 minute type documentary, or both.

Cool vid, but I think you might have forgotten someone, er uh, the Jeep?

LMAO! Yup, I didn't have any real decent photos, only like 1 or 2.
Definitely get some nice photos of the Jeep once it's 100%. Well spotted though.

Need them all but we'll work with what we need. I have a very good body guy on the job.
Just as I said, the worst part is no one knew this so it's more shock than anything else.

Yup, just real shlt body work, a real patch up fast and sell job.

How did you get around using AC/DC music on youtube without them crying about copyright infringements?  See the message below.

"This video contains an audio track that has not been authorized by WMG. The audio has been disabled. More about copyright"
