71 Challenger 340 4 Speed Shaker $18,000
« on: December 03, 2008 - 08:49:39 PM »
Alright guys i need to sell this. Im in college and need the funds from this sale to generate money to continue going...

71 340 4 Speed Shaker

VIN matches...
Body
Clear Title
Trans
Buildsheet
Fender Tag

This is a very very rare and unusual car and is complete with exception to the shaker hood assembly.

I have already had original quarters and trunk extensions put on the car. Need some slight final touches though. The trans has been complete rebuilt by passon performance. I have a brand new full interior kit for the car. The motor is a NOS bare block with correct dating(took years to find one). Correctly dated heads, intake, carb (rebuilt), distributor, radiator(even cap). I have extensively searched for parts while owning this car. Found original correctly dated stuff for everything. I have everything you need down to the 340 shaker only upper rad hose, flip top inner locking cap, nos rear trim, console w/ cassette & correct mic. The list goes on.

The car was originally a triple green car and there is many picture of the car online at the following address...

Hey Steve,

Please update your add with a location and price so they won't delete it.

Also some photos would help.  It sounds like a nice car, and the shaker makes it even better.

Good luck with the sell.

The pictures above are how the car is currently except for the fact that the quarters are now installed and a ton of parts are loading down the car...

The assembly is long gone that is really the only part im missing. The previous owner snagged all the rare options off of it before selling and i got it and had to track down all those parts once again...I have everything and i mean everything down to date coded radiator caps...

the pictures at the link is the current state of the car?

I would like to have a shaker car, but in todays prices I wouldn't pay $18K for a car that needs that much work, sorry not to offend you, but that is just my opinion on a project

Quarters and trunk extensions are currently on the car and the backhalf is primed. No offense take but realistically i could sell everything i bought for the car then sell the shell with the trans and get a lot more than my asking price. Your looking at a rare documented car with tons all NOS or Original parts. Rebuilt #'s trans, New interior kits, and the car has everything except for the shaker assembly.
