HEMI 5.7 ENGINE 50 000kms , HARNESS, ECM
« on: December 04, 2008 - 09:38:28 PM »
I'm trying to find one for my 74 Cuda.

I found one with 50,000 kms on it and he is asking $2500 CAD.   Is this a good price or what?

You crazy Canadians, convert that please.   :canada:   :roflsmiley:

Seriously, I bought mine a year and a half ago, $1800, 2004 w/ 40,xxx miles on it, with factory harness, minus computer.  I thought it was a decent deal.  Couldnt build an engine w/efi for that cheap, with that much HP/torque.  But I did have to splurge on a new harness and computer, that set me back $1600.   :faint:

If that helps...   ??? :dunno:

Thanks for the relies fellas.

71bigblock --> What harness & computer setup did you go with?  I'm trying to figure out if I can use the stock harness/comp to run the motor in my cuda, I'd rather not spend too much more on the engine right now.

Sorry, I used the one from Squier Inc  (Hotwire Auto)

www.hotwireauto.com

Mine isnt charging, but they're doing everything they can to help.  I'm actually getting a new computer, we think that's the problem.  And I'm doing it in my truck, actually.

There are a lot of pages without pics, but there is some good reading in that mess.  Pics do show up later in the thread.
