That is a great tail. But I have experienced it the other way around. I stopped by a old yard in Kansas and setting in the field was a 71 Dodge Superbee charger. I checked vin.  tag to confim real deal. It was missing grill, right front fender. Otherwise all there. So I talk with the senior member of father-son and make cash offer. He accepts it by closing deal on a hand shake. I figure to save this car, before the night is up I get a phone call and father was swayed by junior , so father wants now three times asking-deal made on price. What gives, is not a mans word his bond. No, I did not buy this car, I bought 2 cudas a 71 and 73. So keep your powder dry. The Ks. Hillbilly

I like this trhread, good fun reading,,,,,,, however I have had more doubts that this would end with a nice pic of a 2,000 dollar Hemi Cuda than positive thoughts,,,,,,,,,,,,   been there too,  chasing Ghost Cars  :faint:...........

btw is Ghost Cars a new term? first I ever heard of that,,,,,,,,, I like it  :smokin: :2thumbs:.......

Definitely not a prank, just haven't pursued it anymore after she told Mark that it was sold to a friend of the family. I think she still has it at her bodyshop butchering the original paint, color, and interior.
