I've just finished the job on my 70 challenger. It's pretty staightforward, and you don't really need an extra hand.
First you bolt in the regulator, then the front and rear guides. make sure you only bolt the guides down at the bottom of the door. If you don't have the catwhiskers in yet, do it now, because it's impossible to do it when the glass is in (even though they say it can be done with the glass installed)
The next step is to lower the window into the door. The tricky part is to get bracket which is mounted to the glass to get it lowered in the door. It helps to keep the catwhiskers out of the way by taping them to the top of the door. Now tilt the glass backwards so the rear bracket is in the door. Now slide the lower front slider into the front track. This is possible because you haven't mounted the top bolt of that track. Then slide in the second one, and the glass is in.
Lower it completely and the mount the horizontal track guide which is still on the regulator assembly.
Now you can roll up the glass and secure the front and rear tracks at the top. keep everything loose until the window rolls up and down freely without any resistance in the mechanisme
Then comes the tricky part of adjusting it. It has to be snug at all the weatherstriping, and also at the quarterwindow.
But al that is pretty straightforward. Also remember to mount the front and rear up-stops when you've adjusted the window.
Good luck and be patient.
