'70 Challenger ?
« on: December 07, 2008 - 08:19:05 AM »
Hi eveyone.
My friend just pulled the back seat out of his '70 challenger. Fender tag is missing and although it currently is a 360 4-sp with R/T badges he is curious about what it was originally. It has a tag crimped to a spring on the bottom. Would this have any clues or is it interior specific?

If not are there any sources for trim tags in reproduction from the vin# ?

Thanks

the metal tag on the seat has nothing to do with the fender tag , it is just a seat ID

The numbers on the tag tell me that they're correct for the year 125 day of 1970 check out this site for any other date codes you may need.Rob  http://www.hamtramck-historical.com/dateCodes101-2.shtml
