Sunday Cruise
« on: December 07, 2008 - 02:56:23 PM »
Well it's that time of year again. I had to move the Challenger out of the garage to get the Christmas decorations down so I thought it is such a beautiful day (Sunny-Blue sky and 55 degrees) I back the Chally out of the garage and just kept going. It has been about 6 months since the last cruise so I was overdue.
Just thought I would share. Anybody else go for a cruise today?

What, no top down??  :roflsmiley:
I had mine out Thanksgiving morning.  That is the latest I've ever had it out, but I needed to get it home from my friend's garage where I was storing it before the weather really went to he!!. It was in the mid 40's that day and my heater doesn't work, but I still enjoyed the short drive.
Got it home to my new garage just in time, within 3 days we got some snow and since then winter has hit with avengance, snow and cold.  It may be close to 6 months before I can get it out and drive it again. :'(

I'm sure your wife is real pleased with that! (Wife standing in the livingroom looking at her watch wondering why it's taking so long for JS27 to bring those decorations in.) :roflsmiley:

We got some snow this AM and to top it off a healthy dose of SALT on the roads.  I guess it's time put her up for the year.

Took mine out yesterday for a 30 minute ride.  Was fun in the cool thin air that my motor seems to love so much...
Pic is from back in early November.

I had the Challenger out on Thanksgiving for a drive and almost took the Cuda out today but was a little to cold for me only 38 degress so I'll wait for a warmer day to take it out. Wish it was warmer here but glad you got to go for a drive.

Sweet looking Challenger! Love the Magnum 500's!

On Saturday with 3 other friends, we particpated in a Toys 4 Tots cruise. I did some one handed video clips with my camera and put together my first short YouTube video. Nothing spectacular but fun nonetheless. The song I ended up choosing was the only song I have in WMA format and I thinked work out well.

i use my chally as the weekend car so when i have to work on fridays saturdays and sundays its cool with me ... i work 5 miles from my house so its a nice little drive ... i can take 2 different routes ... 1 is threw an upscale residental street OR threw a Blvd. which is more enjoyable at night (i hate morning traffic lol)... but im with you sometimes ill be 30 sec away from home then ill just take a right turn and keep driving for a bit ... its awesome ...
