Cool cars but one of your nuts!? They are pretty common down here, heard they're banned up there?? :clueless:
I'd rather have a genuine R32 GT-R Skyline. No frills, no tech, just driver + car. But, I'd rather have a MoPar first.

They aren't banned, per se.  Until they decided to import the previous generation car as the Infiniti G35 (?) and the current GT-R, Nissan never did the necessary stuff to import the car to this country - emissions, crash testing, left-hand drive, etc.  Probably not a big enough market to make it worthwhile to them and too much of a competitor with the Z.  From talking to a sailor trying to import an R33, I gather there's a LOT of red tape and bureaucratic hoops to jump through.  But I've seen them here, licensed and street legal.  They don't even have to be converted to left-hand drive.

I'd take Matt Monet's Stealth R/T TT track car before getting a Skyline...They're a good performer, but I just can't get over the rear quarter panel styling and lack-luster lines of the car (plus the ridiculous price tag).

I've already been fixed so my left nut ain't worth much   :roflsmiley:  I guess if i had to give up a nut for a newer car, I am with 71bigblock, I'd rather have an Austin Martin.  That way I could always put on a tux and act like James Bond for a night...Then, I'd sell it to pay off my house and other debts.

Thanks for the explanation and clearing that up Greg. I knew I had seen Skylines in the States.
Cool cars that can make HUGE hp, they love and react to big turbos. Still, give me a Viper any day.

I think the only thing I would sell my left one for is another right one. I think the right one is the only one that works anyway!

Let's get off this selling testes bit. It's making me depressed :(

Holy three-page thread, Batman!!!

Lol - I thought I might stir up SOME controversy but damn!!

See, I already HAVE an old Mopar, I already HAVE my Viper...  But I'm pretty balanced financially so see, my left nut is pretty much all I have... well...  ...left.  :)

I really like the body style of the GT-R R34 - especially the nismo editions.  That HUGE grill opening, the four taillights...  That boxy, hunkered down look...  I just really like it.

Now I don't think ANYONE can question my Mopar loyalty.  My wife owns the only non-mopar car in the family, and her parents bought it for her - she didn't have much choice.  (I was trying to talk her into another Stratus coupe :))  But performance is performance, and when you can get 1000 horsepower out of an inline-six, that's just damned impressive - I don't care WHAT badge it wears.

I do really like the new GT-R, too, but yeah - the black box thing is a terrible idea.  What does that say if the company spends THAT much time and money trying to get OUT of warrantying their own vehicles?  How 'bout you just build 'em to not break!!!

And I love my Viper, and I'll still take the Viper over a Skyline, a Lambo, Aston Martin...  Now, a Ferrari Enzo - that might be a tough call.  Or a new F-430 Scuderia...

I'm going to need more nuts...

I'd rather have a 65 VW.  At least when it won't start, you'd know it's because it has a 6 volt ingnition.

I'm sorry, but "2 Fast 2 Furious" brought this car into my life,

I'd rather have this one.

You'd sell your left nut for a 318 car with a huge fake supercharger on the hood?  :clueless:  :poopoke:  :roflsmiley:

I'm glad you would freely give you nut for it. It's just me but I wouldn't give your left nut for it free and clear. I'll keep my Mopars thank you.

Rocky mountain Oyster :roflsmiley:  You get a tub of them for 4.99   I don't think you could buy the car for just one. You'd be talking in a higher pitched voice and someone at a club would be yelling ( git er done) and useing a tooth pic :smilielol:   Won't even get you a hot wheels toy car :2thumbs:
