Has Anyone made the ebody 8 track bezel

Does anyone one know if the 8 track bezel has been repoped yet?

I have not seen any being done yet, as i am after two for my brother.  Both kinds in fact, one 70 style Challenger one and one to suit 70 - 71 Barracuda

I see you want this for a Challenger, just make sur the one you find is for a 70 Challenger as they are unique

  Can you explain this to me? The left side bezel of the 70 Challenger is definitely different from the 71-74(only cosmetically, not in shape). I really see no difference on the right hand bezel.    The bezel around the radio, be it a 70, or later year, looks the same to me, no matter what radio. Well, the 8-Track is different, but other than that.. I see all 70-74 bezels the same on the right side.

It's a supply/demand thing. Lots of cars had the regular bezel and lots of people need one. How many 8-track bezels could be sold to justify the thousands of dollars it takes to produce a mold? Probably not enough.

I believe the difference between 70 Challenger and 70-4 Cuda/71-4 Chall is the "rib" or feature line. 70 Chally is smooth without the extra line/rib/thingie.

The radio FILLER for 70 Chally with std. gauges is ribbed, the others have a textured surface.

The 70 Challenger are unique and had a sharp point where they extend to there sharpest.  All the rest have a grove or recess in stead of a point.  Can you see the groove around the faded Red set, they are for a 70 Barracuda and the other picture are of a 70 Challenger set in Burnt Orange that i got from theDodgeBoys.

No worries, and that recess is carried over on to the 8 track bezzels for everything except 70 Challenger as well   They have the sharp point with the 8 track recess. . . . . . . . . . . . .

Yes, it's more of a groove than a rib. Sorry for the half-arsed description.
