Just curious with me having a 4 speed and not seeing another one :2thumbs:

Hey Barry, On my switch panel there was a 1.5x1.5 square sticker at one time that is faded on mine. It was a factory sticker. Maybe about the headlights. You had told me something about it. And I can't remember. Also curious if it is repopped

From memory, the red survivor car is a 318-4-speed like yours. If I get a chance over the weekend or next week I'll check into it.

Send me an email with a photo of the sticker, I remember talking to you about it but that was a while ago......

Kenny,
If I could go back & order one, I would get a A93 M46 198 /6 car with a three speed on the floor. Colors would be a tough choice, Two tone? Mod top? Gator top? So many choices....
The stranger the better :2thumbs: the roof options are very cool, out of the list you posted of what M46 cars are known, i like the first combo the most  BL1 V1G    H6T5 :grinyes:

I want to know how the Grille was trimmed on the M46.  I am thinking back and I only remember when I took mine off my car was the 4 piece chrome that went around the outside of it.  I would like to know before I do anything to mine now.  I know some of the guys thinks they should have other things on them,  Hope someone can set the record straight for me.

The grill in my car is original. before I painted it, I could see where the center chrome pieces were mounted at one time. I just recently aquired another set , as you know Gordon

I know that Alan I just did not see that on my Grille,  I just wanted to see if we could get it straight,  May just do the red strip in the middle anyway on mine.

Red bar is 70 cuda only far as I know.  Have seen a few m46 cars and some were missing the chrome and some had them. It's the white and blue stripe kit that is under watchful eyes, and the coding for it

Im selling my red bars for 85 bucks when I get home. I will be installing the correct stuff

I just do not think my car had the strip on the bottow as well.  It might have but there is no sign of it ever being there anywhere on the bottom.  I have looked and I can tell if there was ever anything there.  Dont sell it before I can get the red Strip for mine please.

All m46 cars came with the stripe. It was a package deal unless dealer installed scoops. If you got the original paint (i think you do) once you remove the bumpers, you may find tell tale signs. Just like the paint scheme, rear chrome

The M46 had the same chrome grille treatment as the Gran Coupes...... no Red bar was available for the M46 and only the 'Cuda had the Red bars with Plymouth grille emblem, Barracuda only had the Plymouth grille emblem.

I thought that the Gran Coupe was what the grill on the m46 was modeled after.

not sure that the Gran Coupe grille was modeled after an M46 grille, not real sure when the first M46 was produced compared to when the first Gran Coupe was produced  :dunno: i just know they share the same grille set out  :2thumbs:

Barry in about 6 months my car will be looking as it did when it was new.  I bought a 318 out of a 70 barracuda to. About as close as I could get to original.  Im lacking an oem rear splash pan, the decal on the switch panel, and things like an air cleaner and such. I have the original hood and wheels n hub caps now. Just gotta unbolt all the other stuff I bolted on. And find an exhaust pipe set up. I have the manifolds.  I need to let greg ward tune up the original am radio yet, and a few things like that. Then I will send you all the pictures and numbers again.  I just got another lft hand lug rotor for it for the front. The back left is still original too.  I know I wont enjoy my car as much as it is now with the big block in it, but this car deserves to be preserved as you said to me in the past. I plan on driving it to the show next year. I hope everyone likes it. It isnt a show car, but a rust free running example of what it was . Someone will restore it one day, Im just kinda preserving it for now. I have saved everything I took off of it.
