how many on here own a Gran Coupe?

There was one around my area a few years back. It was and original FJ6 '71 Gran Coupe with a green plaid interior and 383 4 speed. I know the guy who owned it. Pretty cool car. I wish I knew were that one went.

Thanks, I will have 2 cars of the same color once their both restored, my 69 Bee is the same factory color. I could never figured out why some people dont like this green, to me its one of the best colors. But the old original F8 is a far cry from the new base clear in f8

I owned 2 70 GC's. One burnt orange, white vinyl, burnt orange houndstooth interior 383 2 barrel. The other one black, white vinyl top, black/white interior 318. My brother had a 70 GC limelight green 383 4 barrel , 4 speed pistol grip.

Didnt the horseppwer on a 383-4 fall from 330 horse in 70 to 290 in 71?

A friend had one back in the 90's....318, burnt tan exterior, tan leather interior, bunch of options including 6-way seat.

Does anyone know why they didn't make an opera-style back window for these like their sister car, the Challenger S.E.??
