Mine was a 318-2bbl but currently has a 340, 727, 8.75.  Originally came in a washed-out yellow (sunfire?) with white top and white interior.  No fender tags or buildsheet.

My dad had a '71 GC 383 drag pack, etc...  Originated in Northeastern, MN.  Been trying to track it down ever since he sold it.
Grew up in a '71 Barracuda GC.  Now trying to go back to that time.

AFAIK, maybe it was called something else (I'm more familiar with Fords)  I was young before he sold it.  What I do remember of it:  hood pins, black vinyl top on a sublime green body, mirrors both sides, cassette player on the trans hump, black leather interior, 383, rear window louvers, body color spoiler, and the wheels were either keystones or magnum 500's.  The story behind the car was that the first buyer bought with certain options, took it home, said it was too fast and scary, returned it to the dealer, then my dad bought it.  He sold it to a local sometime in the later 70's, and from there I had heard it was trailered out to Colorado.

There were quite a few options available on a Gran Coupe. One of my 70's is a 318/904 with the rallye hood, rallye gauges and the elastomeric bumper on the front only. It's a B5 with B5 interior, buckets seats, console and no a/c. It was originally purchased in Cali and brought to western Arkansas in the mid 70's. The rallye hood didn't surprise me. It was the elasto on the front only that blew my mind. Had to be a mistake on the order form. The salesman probably thought that checking off the elasto option would get both front and back. Weird.

Mine's currently under construction, hopefully will be painted by the end of august. originally a 318/auto, but when i got it someone had dumped in a 440 & added a 'cuda hood.  so i'm gonna keep that, but everything else will be as from the factory: EB3 ext/EB5 int/V1X top, all gran coupe trim & argent tail panel. i haven't decided on whether to put on the hockey stripe.  what are the thoughts out there?

(The one that got away:  i had a 383-4bbl gran coupe convertible in my early college days, but didn't know how rare it was to have: power windows, 6-way seat, 8-track, cuda hood, a/c, FC7 P6XW & V3W, auto, a21 front bumper. sold it when i knew i couldn't afford to restore it or have a place to keep it.)

if i had a white interior that would look cool!  i was also thinking of a '70 go wing on the back, that and the black vinyl roof leads me to a black stripe.   if i put one one.  i tried to upload a pic of it in the shop, but i guess the pic was too big to load.

Sorry i mis-read, i was thinking White roof when i read that, because my brothers Gran Coupe is a B2 Blue exterior B5 interior White roof 71 Gran Coupe :2thumbs:
Makes sense you would put Black Hockeys to match the roof, and a wing would not look out of place........ you can resize your pictures to re-post here if you can

Near the end of August 2009 we should have the first 1:18 die cast 1970-71 Gran Coupes. The manufacturer (Die Cast Promotions / Hwy 61) tooled up the overhead console, leather style seats, GC embelms, and then some new options like rear luggage (trunk) rack and rear window louvers. Each is optioned a little different. Here's a photo of the one I like, yet we are all different.

There is 1 1970 and 3 1971's coming in.

Just thought I'd share the info...

That's pretty cool!
70 Cuda, 7.0L Gen-III Hemi, Viper T56 w/9310 gearset, 3.91's, Megasquirt MS3x v3.57, Innovate wideband, Firm Feel upper arms, torsion bars, springs and strut rods, QA1 DA shocks. I did everything on this car except the fancy paint stuff and I drive it...and I can't seem to stop messing with it....
