    Stock seat belt in a '72 Challenger Rallye??

    Did the stock seat belts in a '72 Challenger Rallye have retractors in the rear as well as the front? :dunno:  I am putting this car together for a friend and he doesn't have seat belts so I need to know what to look for.

     retractors in the rear yes, well at least these with a 72 date code do. I have everything in black but cannot find one of the frt retractors. they would need a good cleaning and need to be dyed or maybe some fabric spray.  Pete

    TO the best of my knowledge, I think the retractors are in the '73-'74 cars, not 100% on that.

    My '72 Challenger Rallye does not have retractors in the rear, only in the front, but mine is an early '72 so I don't know if they added them later in the year....   :dunno:

    1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

    You're probably right but these have a 1972 stamp on the tag so were they used in 72 or 73. Pete

    those would be 73 belts.... I had some 70 ones that were dated 69....  :bigshades:
