« on: May 12, 2004 - 10:14:04 AM »
Hey guys...see that lemon twist '71 CUDA for $7000, yeah right! It's for sale in Ohio for $2995 by the REAL owners...already called owners and told them, sent e-mail to e-bay to report the fraud, e-mailed FAKE seller and told them they have been reported...what a bunch of POS's they are!

I was about to post the same, but saw this thread...

Should you have anymore questions, please drop me a line or call my

Katherine Wallies.

And I asked:

Saw your auction on eBay and want to find out more about the car. Where is it located? What is the VIN? Is the 383 numbers/run well? Rust condition? Tranny, rest of drivetrain? Additional pictures would be appreciated.

-Matt

How many questions were answered by the seller (Who is really located in San Diego, according to previous auctions)? None.

I've never bothered to send a message to the E-Mail address specified by the scammer. I just send him nasty grams ;D  I hope he hasn't conned money from anyone yet. What would happen if I bid on one of these cars without his "approval" first?  A couple of weeks ago I saw a car he was advertising saying it was in the US. Too bad the username said he was located in Hongkong. Dah ::)  I hope he gives up soon.

I saw a Challenger T/A auction a few weeks ago with a fake "buy it now" for $3200 (you had to be "pre-approved" though, whatever that means). I sent an email to the seller asking if it was a misprint (it was the first time I had seen one of these scams)  The next day I got an email congratulating me for being pre-approved and invited to wire $3500 to the seller in Bulgaria.

Needless to say I rushed the money right out. The T/A should be here any day now.  ::)

Well, maybe this recent development in Italy will stop this scammer...

Italian Cops Add Lamborghini to Fleet

ROME (AP) - Italian drivers who like to use highways as their personal speed-tracks are about to lose the race.

Italy's state police presented a sleek new addition Friday: a Lamborghini Gallardo, with a top speed of 192 mph. The car is ready for service, bedecked with a siren, painted blue-and-white, and the word ``POLIZIA'' - ``police'' - stenciled on the side.

Police showed it off at an anniversary celebration in Rome on Friday. They said the Lamborghini will be used on the Salerno-Reggio Calabria highway in southern Italy, for emergencies and to transport organs for transplant.

Lamborghini, which is owned by Volkswagen and based near Bologna in northern Italy, donated the car. The six-speed, two-door luxury vehicle promises the ability to go from zero to 60 mph in four seconds, and has a list price of $165,000.

Kid: "Aww gee Officer, you're taking me for a ride!! Let me grab the clean pair of underware from the glovebox!"

Here is another one!! When I first saw this listing, it said buy it now for $12,000 . . . . 5 minutes later it says $8,000??  Too good to be true, probably is! I e-mailed the seller anyways just to see what I get!

Yeah, that looks like the same Arse ::) He says the car is in Canada, but the user ID says the guy is located in the U.S. if you click on it. This item will be yanked shortly.
