70 rallye tach question
« on: December 14, 2008 - 05:32:10 PM »
It looks there are three wires that attach to the tach- a blue wire with a right angle press-on connector; a gray wire that presses onto a male connector; and a gray wire with red stripe that has a ring-type connector that is held on to the tach with a small nut and lockwasher. Does this seem correct? What do each of these wires do?

Whoops, I made a mistake. The gray wire is actually a black wire with white stripe. From its place in the harness, it doesn't look like it could reach anywhere else. Anyone say for sure what this wire is for?

the blue & grey grey wire are for the Tach , if I recall the grey is the tach signal so blue was power
