70 Challenger rear speaker control question
« on: December 14, 2008 - 10:39:48 PM »
The radio parts of my 70 Challenger were not all there when I got the car, and I'm trying to play detective and figure out what the car had in it originally. It was a rallye dash car, and had a rear speaker control to the right of the heater controls. The was a small rectangular box a couple inches square that was part of the sound system, but the printing is faded off it, so I don't know what it did. There is a bundle of green wires that looks like it went to the rear of the car. Sorry for so little info. There was no radio when I got it. Did an am radio come with rear speakers as an option? One or two speakers? Thanks for the help.

What is your radio code? R11? R22? R35?

If this box is located over by the glove compartment, it is a cross-over network for a 3-speaker dash.
