might check the turbomustangs website forum, they have a mopar section and there has been at least one thread about using the 4L80 or 6L80 behind a mopar.

10-4.  Thanks for the heads up.  I already knew the bolt patterns were different between the 400 and 4L80, I just didn't know if the 400 ultrabell would be able to be machined to fit.  I know I'd have to do some machine work to the front pump to get the bell to sit flat, but beyond that (diameters and such) I'm at a loss.  I had though about just ordering one and sizing everything up - if It doesn't work, send it back and try again.  However, now that Quick Time reports that they are going to make one, I might just hold out for that.  I'm not on a "frantic" schedule to get my car together, lol - I've been working on the car for over 3 years now just to get to this point.

Just got a notification from QuickTime that their bellhousings should be available to ship in about 4-5 weeks.  Just thought I would update this for us poor souls out there who are trying to run this combo.

EDIT:  I just did a Google search to see if thread popped up - no luck on that one.   Any ideas on how to make this come up as one of the things listed in a google search.  Sure would be nice if others could find this.  :thinkerg:

Quick update.

There was some confusion as to what transmission was similar to what.  Needless to say, there now exists a BBM to 4l60 SFI bellhousing for the Mopar clan available from quicktime.

After I cleared up some confusion on the phone with Ross, he said that he will custom make a bell housing for my application - all he needs is the bell housing depth and the front pump for about a week.  I think I can do without my front pump for a week.  ;D

He was asking about what the market was for these, and I was telling him that I knew of a couple of people that wanted one - but I figured it wouldn't be too many.  However, if you are interested in something like this, please send an e-mail to Ross at quicktime and let him know.

Bringing back a thread from the dead.  Bell housings are up for sale now.

Part number RM9074

You'll have to buy a 130 tooth flexplate to make it work, but it's cheap, and every bit of it is SFI certed.  I've had mine for at least 6 months now.

How did this work out for you? Did you get it up and running? Does a 4L80 fit in a stock E-Body tranny tunnel or do you have to modify the floor?
Thanks Brad
