Rallye Green 999?
« on: December 16, 2008 - 10:41:12 PM »
Ok, me and Tony had a conversation about the color Rallye Green when I visited him, I got to searching today and I see some sites list Rallye Green an special request color in 1970 as a 999 code, along with Bahamma Yellow.  Does anyone know the detalis on this?  What about any pics of 70 e bodies with factory  Rallye Green or Bahamma Yellow paint???

I have seen pics of both 69.5 Bees/RR's and 70 Challengers with that paint. I always thought it was a striking color. Is it known as Green Apple? for some reason I have that in my head.

I am not aware of any 1970 999 cars in either color. Yet.

Any non-advertised color could be ordered though.

For the "new" 1969 colors look here;

Dodge had those colors in 1970 but not plymouth.  I have the ppg paint chips for those years and I looked.  Gordon

The reason I bring it up is that I think its an intriguing situation between GM and Chrysler and the color is just stunning.

THAT is one pretty color!  I never thought I'd hear myself say that about a green car (that wasn't Sublime)...  I am probably picking up a 71 Duster (/6 car) later this week that was originally green.  I don't know what color green it was originally but I wonder how that color would look on it  :grinyes:  Anybody know the actual paint code for it?

Hey bro Mopar listed it as 999 paint code.  BUT... GM put this color on their Camaros in 69 not sure about 70 and above.  Maybe check that out.  Im sure Tony Miller can get you the formula as he had a Mopar that color, but now Im just guessing...

here is a 69 R/T i used to own, 440-4 console auto.

Rare color overall, it was a late year color in 69

Really grabs you in person, i love this color.

Would that be EF6 since it is a '69 color?
